YIPEEE.....!!The day that I have beeen waiting for nearly a month has come.This debate was decided a month ago and then we plan it each day but, it just gets postponed somehow.So,no more waiting....
The topic was '' Social Networking Sites''.We were to be divided into pairs to compete.Sharvani Mam paired Medha of class 8 and me.So,I had full confidence in me that I will surely do great.The first round was there,I just didn't do as much as I expected I would do.I got really disapointed after coming down from the stage.So,the judges would select each student from each house.When the first round was over,the results were to be informed.Now,it was time for the judges to call out the name of each student from each house.I lost all my hopes.But then what I realised was that I was called out from my house......OMG!!My mind was just blank then.....Everyone were shouting,screaming with anger or happiness.....it depends on them.I was just jumping and hugging Sonali,my friend who sat beside me.It was a great time.So for the last round,the topic was given spontaneously.This time it was ''Robot teachers and Human teachers" .Hmmmmm.......it was a very interesting topic!I took help from my friends for few points and then with total hope and courage,I competed with Uma from Pulastya house.Yeah....it was pretty easy!Again,I thought the same thing that I didn't speak as I expected.So,the final results were to be decided.Until then,we were given time to go sing on the stage.I love to sing ......!We sang for some time.The moment of truth was here.Mercy Mam told the results...Guess what....the first position was given to me : D......the second to Uma and the third to Sumanth.It was a overwhelming time.I had a chance to speak a few words and then I thanked the school management for organising the competition.
